The T542i XP is the world’s first top-handle battery-powered chainsaw with a clutch. Experience the power equivalent to a 40cc pro petrol saw, used by professionals all around the globe.

Centrifugal clutch - The clutch provides the saw kick-start energy at the start of every cut and serves to prevent the chain from getting stuck in the wood whilst cutting.

High chain speed - High chain speed for fast, smooth cutting, 24 m/s.

Intuitive & accessible keypad - Easy to operate keypad with large easy to press buttons even when wearing gloves. The charge status is clearly visible, an oil drop symbol lights up when the chain oil is low and there’s a reminder that the chain brake is in the ‘on’ position.

Rope attachment - A sturdy point for fastening a rope for hoisting the saw into a tree.

Belt eyelet - Eyelet included for connecting the saw to a climbing harness.

Automatic shutdown - The saw is shut down after 3 minutes of being idle. This serves to prolong the battery life and lowers the risk of injuries when left unattended. When the chain brake is activated, the shutdown occurs after 30 minutes.

Chain oil sensor - An oil indicator on the display lights up when the saw needs refilling.

savE™ mode - Choose between two operating modes depending on conditions. Normal mode gives you full power and the savE™ mode maximises runtime and is ideal for any tasks that don’t require full power.

Retained bar nuts - The retaining function design of the bar nuts means they will never come off the side plate making them unlosable.

Flip-up tank cap - The Husqvarna flip-up tank cap design gives the user a better grip and makes it easy to open.

Weatherproof (IPX4) - The T542i XP is classed as IPX4 for rain resistance. You can depend on an industry-proven long-lasting and reliable tool that can be used all year round in all-weather conditions.

Unobstructed view - The hand guard design allows for an unobstructed view while performing precise cutting.

Adjustable oil pump - The adjustable oil pump means the user can set the chain lubrication to suit the cutting task at hand.

Interchangeable battery system - The recommended battery pack, (not included) is designed for long-lasting, professional use. You have the versatility of switching the same battery between products making the battery equipment more cost effective.

Battery operation - There are a number of benefits to working with a battery powered product. You can enjoy lowers service costs, no pesky pull starting, safe operation while undertaking tree work and less noise and emissions.

Brushless motor - The in-house developed motor is 25% more efficient than a standard brushed motor. It will provide the user with a high and consistent torque.
