Husqvarna Automower® 520 with EPOS™ GPS Kit

The Husqvarna Robotic 520 EPOS™ mower is designed for commercial use or large lawn areas. Mowing capacity of up to 175m2 per hour or 5000m2 total.

Husqvarna EPOS™ Technology - Virtual boundaries through satellite-based technology with an accuracy down to 2-3cm. No physical wires mean a new level of robustness and flexibility with unmatched possibilities when programming. This makes it possible to define several work areas with different timers and settings. Pre-set transport paths or temporary stay-out zones and more.

Wire-free technology - Wire-free operation through satellite-based RTK-GNSS for accuracy to 2cm approx.

Selectable mowing pattern - Improve the visual impression of the turf by changing the mowing pattern. With EPOS™ technology, the mower can run in parallel lines and create mowing shapes such as diamonds, triangles or checkerboard.

Warning lights - Lights with pulsating or solid light to create awareness when operating at night. Reduces the risk of damage or accidents in public work environments.

Husqvarna Fleet Services™ - Available with this model to give the user full control of the mower with the possibility to monitor, control and analyse your entire fleet of products from a smartphone, tablet or laptop. You can overview status and exact location, command start/stop or group command to park in the case of an event or extreme weather. Settings and cutting heights can be adjusted easily, receive alarms, and track the mower's positions in the case of theft. Support is required from the Automower Connect App during installation.

Pro user interface - Adapted for professional handling meaning all settings and controls are managed remotely through Husqvarna Fleet Services app. Simplifies use and intuitive to operate.

Customised work areas - Opportunity to individually customise each work area with a unique time schedule, cutting height, and cutting pattern. Provides tailored care for a site with multiple scattered areas.

Stay-out zones - When the need arises, create temporary stay-out zones within the installation area. Activate or deactivate easily through the mobile app. This can be useful if there is construction, events or seeding.

Husqvarna EPOS™ Guidance - Automatically calculates the optimal route to and from the charging station without the need for a physical guide wire. It will vary the route taken to and from the charging station to avoid wheel tracks.

Maintenance point - Designate and mark a machine maintenance parking spot on the map. On command, the Robot parks there automatically while waiting for cleaning, service, loading or storage.

appDrive - Use appDrive when defining an EPOS™ map or when driving the product between areas without the use of carrying.

Electric height adjustment – PATENTED - Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the app remotely.

Weather timer - Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s rate of growth. The Automower® will maximise mowing time in periods of high grass growth. Late in the season or in dry conditions, the mower will spend less time mowing decreasing wear on the lawn and mower.

5-Blades - The 500 series and CEORA mowers are equipped with 5 Enhance HSS blades for a higher cutting performance. More blades per disc provides a finer cut and extends the interval for blade changes.

Cutting system - The Automower® is equipped with 5 pivoting razor blades manufactured from strong carbon steel and mounted on a robust cutting disc. It is designed to cut a little, but frequently, providing efficient operation and very low energy consumption. The sharp blade cuts cleanly through the grass promoting a healthier lawn when compared to the duller action of heavy bar blades on petrol machines.

Balance control - Automatically detects and notifies if imbalance with the cutting system has occurred due to damaged, missing, or double mounted blades.

45% Slope capable - The large coarse-tread wheels provide excellent traction even if the surface is slippery. The mower will handle a slope angle of 45% going places many other petrol-powered options won’t.

FOTA - Firmware-Over-The-Air to easily make software updates through the App to enable new features or updates when available.

Theft protection - Tracking with GPS positioning and can send notifications if the Robot is moved outside the working area.

Safety sensors - If the Automower® is lifted off the ground or tips over the cutting automatically stops. In addition, the blades are rotating far from the outer edge of the body so if an obstacle presents itself, it will stop, and redirect without causing any damage. If it encounters any obstacles, it stops and changes direction.

Weatherproof - Rated to IPX4 Automower® can be outside around the clock and is designed to function properly and unattended regardless of the weather. Built to withstand the harsh NZ climate without issue.
