Honda GX690 Engine

A powerful V-Twin horizontal engine from Honda delivering high output for commercial applications. A high compression ratio, dual cylindrical air filter and enhanced engine fuel control settings combine for a reliable and proven power plant.

Oil pump - The high-capacity full pressure oil pump facilitates consistent oil delivery and lubrication for long service life.

Air filter - Dual cylindrical air filter and large diameter air intake for superior cooling and protecting the engine from dust particles when used in harsh environments.

Fuel efficiency - With a twin barrel inner-vent carburettor for precise fuel metering and a 9.3:1 compression ratio this engine delivers on high power output without the need for premium fuel.

Applications - The V-Twin range of engines from Honda power equipment in NZ from grain augers, high output pumps, pressure washers, agricultural, forestry and construction equipment with service dealers across the country.

Oil alert - An oil alert function will activate if inadequate oil is in engine sump to protect your asset.

Smooth performance - Integrated cylinder and head and racing inspired forged steel connecting rods. Couple this with aluminium push rods with steel clips for lighter weight, less vibration and quiet operation.

Fuel consumption - 6.7 L/hr @ 3600rpm

Starting - Electric start with automatic mechanical decompression system, CDI ignition and variable valve timing as developed and proven by Honda.

Cooling fan - A 36 blade cooling fan is integrated for quiet operation performance.

Oil filter - Automotive type spin-on oil filter for ease of service and protects internal engine components against wear.

Engine features - Forged steel crankshaft, insert style rod bearings, hemispherical combustions chamber and pressure fed crankshaft bearings.

Engine protection - A rev limiter protects against damage from over-revving.
