The gearcase regulates the RPM to achieve smooth, clean cutting whether you are working with short grass or thick and matted growth. The high torque transfer increases the power output making it comparable to a model with a 5cm³ - 10cm³ larger engine size. You will enjoy the power to cut cleanly without flattening.
